My favorite Brethren interlocutor/blogger, Joshua Brockway, has an excellent post up at his blog,
Collationes (I still don't know how to pronounce that!). It offers a diagnosis of the fundamental problem that is driving many of the Church of the Brethren's more apparent/pressing issues: the problem of Modernity. As I mention in
the comments, it's a very Hauerwasian critique which I largely affirm. So check it out!
